St. John's Old Boys' Association — the alumni body of St. John’s School, bringing old students together across Ghana and the diaspora.
Viam Parantes
The school’s motto, Viam Parantes — “preparing the way” — is the association’s too. It is what an old student does for the ones who come after him.
What the association does
- Mentorship
- Old boys make time for new old students — on careers, on postgraduate study, on getting started. A mentee asks, a mentor accepts, and the two of them agree what they are working on.
- Chapters
- 8 chapters, from Accra to North America, each with its own lead and its own gatherings. See where they are.
- The members’ register
- A directory old students can search for a classmate — kept behind a sign-in, with every member deciding for himself what may be seen and by whom. It is never published here.
- Dues and standing
- Subscriptions are recorded against each member, and a member in good standing is one whose dues are settled. How to pay.
